# Zanna Sound > Zanna Sound is Brazil's first sound branding agency, founded in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro. The company creates sonic identities (identidade sonora) that connect people to brands through music, voice, and sound design. Pioneer of sound branding in Latin America. Zanna Sound was founded by Zanna, a singer, composer, music producer, and the iconic voice of Rio de Janeiro's MetrôRio, São Paulo's ViaQuatro and ViaMobilidade metro systems, and Infraero airports across Brazil. She is a three-time Latin Grammy nominee, author of the first Latin American book on sound branding ("Sound Branding -- A Vida Sonora das Marcas," Ed. Matrix, 2015), and has presented at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and Columbia University. The company serves enterprise clients including MetrôRio, Vivo, Cielo, L'Occitane Au Brésil, GRU Airport, Infraero, ViaQuatro, St Marche, CPTM, Sem Parar, CBMM, G4 Educação, Supergasbras, and TIC Trens. In 2013 Zanna Sound won Best Sound Branding Case at the Audio Branding Academy (ABA) in Germany. In 2012 its CEO was the first professional to present sound branding at Cannes Lions. Services include Sound Branding (sonic identity: brand theme, sonic logo / logotipo sonoro, brand voice, verbal tone, sound design), Music Branding (curadoria musical -- ambient music curation for retail and physical spaces), Sound UX (sound experience design across digital, physical, and analog environments), IVR/URA systems (humanized phone systems with strategic voice design), and Artistic Branding (music and artistic events as brand communication strategy). The proprietary methodology, Musical Archetypes (Arquétipos Musicais), follows four stages: Deep In Sound (diagnostic workshops analyzing brand personality), Sound Creation (composing the sonic DNA -- brand theme, sonic logo, voice), Sound UX (designing sound experience across all touchpoints), and Sound Dissemination (implementation and internal/external workshops).
